DESCRIPTION:This just in from The Red Bank River Center: We’re starting off the BroadWalk season with a brand new event which we’re calling Dog Walk on BroadWalk. We’ve partnered with the good folks from the Red Bank Animal Welfare Committee to bring the animals to the BroadWalk! This Saturday\, May 18 from Noon to 4 PM\, we’ll have pet adoptions from Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue\, and we’ll also be collecting pet food and financial donations to benefit Lunch Break\, as many of their clients have pets who could use our support. There will be live music from performers Marc Delguidice and local favorite The Wag. Speaking of wagging\, you are welcome to bring your dogs to the event\, as long as they are on a leash of course. (I would leave the kitties at home\, though). We’ve also got awesome Yappy Hour specials both on the Broadwalk and beyond the Broadwalk from Robinson Ale House\, Red Rock\, Rita’s\, Washington General\, Ellis Backyard\, the Green Room\, and Starbucks! Our great local pet store\, Fins and Feathers\, will also be on hand\, and there will be other surprises as well.
